Impromptu Money Saver
Just a quick note about something I did today to save money. I work in downtown St. Louis, where parking is at a premium. Everywhere you go, you have to pay to park. I had an appointment today that was going to keep me from going to work today, however, it turns out that the appointment was downtown. It was a little ways away from where I normally park (which work pays for), however, I arrived at my normal parking garage early enough to park there and walk the 8+ blocks to my destination. I saved the $6 or so it would have cost me to park in a garage near my destination. Also, it turned out that the appointment only took 2 hours (not all day like I thought), which meant I could go to work…and I was already parked in the right place.
