		<description>In St Louis, we have some of the cheapest electricity in the country.  The savings on the CFL package is bassed on $0.10 per KWH.  Our rate is about half that.  

The Ameren web site says the average home uses 1.4KWH per day just running those little black plug-in transformers and all the appliances that have a remote control.  Also their statement that power consumption of &quot;plasma screen televisions use up to six times the amount of electricity as a conventional TV, and LCD models use twice as much&quot; surprised me.
