Garage sales offer many opportunities to SAVE
When was the last time you went to a garage sale? It’s been a while for me, because of finances, but I still think they are a treasure-trove of bargains. Just think. 10 books for $1.00, a lawn mower for $15, and even a computer for $25. Every time I go, it’s an adventure. I know people that used to go every week.
Right now, what I need are summer clothes for my 10 year old and 7 year old girls. I will soon start visiting garage sales. If you can catch a subdivision garage sale, that’s even better because you have multiple opportunities and you don’t have to drive very far between them.
I would suggest making a list of the things you really want to get, then strike out early on a Saturday morning. The bargains are waiting.
