Using An Online Savings Bank

Using an online savings bank can be very beneficial and can be a better choice than banking in your local community. Online banks typically offer better rates. Some even offer rates that rival CDs. Also, if you are saving for the long term, an online bank offers the psychology of not being able to run down to the bank to get money every other day. Online banks offer the same protections as local banks.

Deciding which one to use can be difficult because of all of the benefits each offers. GetRichSlowly.com has a post entitled Which Online High-Yield Savings Account Is Best? that describes the benefits of some of the top online banks.

Saving money is definitely a method of “Spending Less”.
