Is buying online cheaper?

Making certain purchases online can prove to be cheaper than making the same purchase in a store.  The main thing that seems to be a problem for most people is having to wait to use whatever it is they are purchasing.  People usually want things NOW.

You also have to decide if you want something NEW or if you can use something used.  In a lot of cases, such as computer memory, electronic equipment, and books, used/refurbished is just as good as new.  You can get a lot of things cheaper online from one of these used/refurbished item web sites:

  • half.com – books, CDs, DVDs, VHS
  • delloutlet.com – Dell’s outlet for refurbished computers
  • ebay.com – you can often get just about anything cheaper here
  • pcmall.com – Refurbished Outlet Store

If you have enough patience to wait a few days to recieve what you have ordered, here are some thing that you can get online a lot cheaper than getting them in a store:

I’m sure there are other sites?  Do you know of any?  If so, leave a comment and share it with the other readers.
