Saving Money at the Movies
I’m back to give my tips on saving money at the movies. As we already know, movie admission prices are expensive, and the food at the concession stands isn’t cheap, but there are ways you can enjoy a movie and your favorite ’snacks’, they next time you go to see the next Blockbuster or ‘chick flick’. Purchase your Popcorn, Candy, Sodas and other liquid refreshments at either your local convience store (Quick Trip, Mobil, Phillips 66; Dollar Store, Wal-Mart or ‘Discount’ grocery store. This will keep you from paying ridiculous prices at the concession stand. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to spend $3.75 for a bag of popcorn, or $3.00 for a 20 oz. bottle of Pepsi. Also, spending $2-$3 for a box of Jawbreakers, Icecaps or other assorted candies is just not a wise way to spend your money. Last but not least, is the movie ticket itself. There are a few ways to save there as well such as: going to the Matinee, Rush-Hour (Weherenberg) or Twilight (AMC) showings. If you’re still in college, you can use your student I.D. to get a discount, senior and children get discounts as well. By spending less at other places, you definitely save more at the movies, which means more money in your pocket!
P.S. How you get these items into the theater is your own business!
