Cheap Domains
I could list cheap domains in this post, but why list cheap domains when I can list free ones?
Here is a list of places you can pick up your domain name for free. Most have some sort of catch, but even with the catch, you are saving money on the registration:
- Yahoo Small Business – A free domain name with web hosting purchase
- DomainsAreFree.com – A free domain name with web hosting purchase. Should be names, DomainsAreFreeeWithDomainNamePurchase.com, but I think that name is already taken.
- Microsoft Office Live – A free domain name and a free web site, and more…
- AnotherFree.com – I know nothing about this one.
- FreeDomainSite.com – Sounds like it’s free after you sign up for one of their trial offers.
- Free Domain Name and Hosting
There are a lot more of these deals and most of them come with some sort of catch. Read the fine print carefully.
There are always catches with these. In the long run they end up the same price or worse case more expensive. You need to look for value for money because free domains drastically restrict the domain name settings. You dont want this. I use http://www.cheap-domains.IT they are low cost but provide absolutely everything. With no hidden extras, you know exactly what you are getting and paying for years to come.
