Cheap Domains

I could list cheap domains in this post, but why list cheap domains when I can list free ones?

Here is a list of places you can pick up your domain name for free. Most have some sort of catch, but even with the catch, you are saving money on the registration:

Yahoo Small Business – A free domain name with web hosting purchase
DomainsAreFree.com – A free domain name with web hosting purchase. Should be names, DomainsAreFreeeWithDomainNamePurchase.com, but I think that name is already taken.
Microsoft Office Live – A free domain name and a free web site, and more…
AnotherFree.com – I know nothing about this one.
FreeDomainSite.com – Sounds like it’s free after you sign up for one of their trial offers.

There are a lot more of these deals and most of them come with some sort of catch. Read the fine print carefully.
