One way to spend less money is to NOT fill up a bird feeder because all that will happen is the squirrels will knock it down and have a feast.

Get a squirrel-proof bird feeder, then it will take two or three years for them to learn how to take the top off! Right now I’m trying to figure how to secure the top better without making it impossible to fill.

Good point. How about I just stop putting bird food out all together. That will save some money. Is there a down side?
